Syllabus
This unit examines the impact of the law on sport for administrators and participants. It deals with the law as it relates to the individual and the sporting organisation. It recognises that sport has considerable commercial significance and reviews the appropriate law.
Learning Outcomes
DESCRIPTION:
1. should be able to recognise whether a particular issue has legal significance
2. have developed legal research skills
3. will be able to conduct affairs in sport, at all levels from recreational to fully commercial, knowing what legal issues may arise and being able to avoid the danger areas
